Legal and Data Information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data C4VPN processes when providing subscription services, international routes, and network acceleration, why it is processed, and how users can manage it.

Data Collected and Its Uses

C4VPN processes only the information needed to provide its services. An email address is not required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient, so the registration process does not collect a registration email. Account data is used mainly to verify identity, maintain login sessions, identify plan ownership, and protect account actions.

Order records may include the selected plan, amount due, payment method, payment status, order status, and transaction identifiers. This information is used for fulfillment, reconciliation, refunds, and dispute reviews. When a user submits a support ticket, its message, attachments, and handling records are retained to answer the request and preserve the necessary context.

Website analytics may include pages viewed, referring pages, browser category, operating-system category, request time, and basic network information. This data helps verify that pages load correctly, identify compatibility issues, and improve site content. It is not used to reconstruct the specific content accessed through the subscription service.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Data

C4VPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit or retain browsing content, transmitted content, or historical records that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. Website analytics are kept separate from network activity on subscription routes; marketing-site analytics are not used to create connection-content profiles.

Operating the service may generate technical status information needed to secure connections, calculate traffic allowances, and troubleshoot faults. This information is processed only for those purposes and is not retained as a long-term browsing record. Diagnostic information temporarily created to investigate a specific fault is deleted or disassociated from the account once the purpose is complete. Connection status that is no longer needed for business purposes is not retained.

Traffic allowances and plan status require summarized usage results to display remaining allowances and enforce plan rules. Summarized usage does not include a list of websites visited or the content of specific pages.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface settings, and necessary security state. This keeps sessions continuous, reduces repeated actions, and delivers the correct page version. Disabling essential storage may prevent login status, saved preferences, or some account features from working properly.

Identifiers used for analytics are used only to understand page usage and diagnose technical issues. Users can clear cookies and local storage through their browser settings; doing so also removes saved login status and preferences.

Payments and Third-Party Processing

C4VPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment confirmation is handled by the relevant third-party payment service, and payment credentials and payment account information are transmitted and stored according to that service’s rules. C4VPN does not directly control how data is processed on third-party payment pages.

To confirm whether an order is complete, the service receives and retains necessary transaction results, such as the order identifier, amount, payment method, and payment status. Third-party payment services are responsible for data they collect independently; users should also review the provider’s privacy notice before paying.

Retention Periods and Deletion

Account details are retained while the account remains active to support login, plan fulfillment, and account management. Order and payment results are retained as needed for transaction fulfillment, financial reconciliation, refunds, dispute resolution, and applicable obligations. Support-ticket records are retained while the issue is handled and for any necessary follow-up review; analytics are retained only while needed for analysis and security maintenance.

When the processing purpose is complete and continued retention is not necessary, the relevant data is deleted, aggregated, or disassociated from the account. Users can submit a support ticket through the user panel to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data. To prevent unauthorized requests, account verification may be required before a request is processed. If some records cannot temporarily be deleted because of transaction reconciliation, dispute handling, or applicable obligations, C4VPN will restrict their use and process them once the retention basis no longer applies.

Policy Updates

C4VPN may update this policy when features, data-processing practices, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed accordingly. Important changes to the scope of data processing will be explained through visible notices on the site. Users are encouraged to review the updated policy before continuing to use the service.
