C4VPN Quick-Start Setup Guide

Before You Begin

The workflow uses two main entry points: the C4VPN user panel manages your account, plan, subscription details, and client downloads; the client on your device reads the subscription, displays routes, and establishes the connection. The marketing site does not provide static installers or display real subscription addresses. This helps keep account credentials out of browser history, chat windows, and public pages.

Before you begin, prepare a username for your own use and a unique password that you do not use on other sites. C4VPN does not require an email address; your username and password are the credentials for accessing the user panel. Store the password in a trusted password manager. If you are using a shared device, sign out of the user panel afterward and check that the browser has not saved an unnecessary login session.

You should also decide which platforms you primarily use. C4VPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; this guide focuses on common import paths for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. There is no device-count limit, but each device should import the subscription through its own client. Avoid sharing subscription links through screenshots or public documents. For protocol differences, route topology, and resource usage, read the Technical Reference after completing the basic connection.

Create an Account

Open the account creation page to set a username and password. The username identifies your account, and the password is used for future sign-ins. No email address is required, so check the username carefully before submitting and make sure the password is stored securely. Submit the form as instructed; after success, you will enter the user panel or see a prompt to continue signing in.

After entering the panel, first check that the account overview loads normally. It is normal not to have a plan yet; the overview will show the next available action based on your account status. Do not copy sample addresses or obtain subscription details from another user. Each account’s subscription link should be generated and retrieved from its own panel.

If the page does not change after submission, check whether the username is already in use, whether both password entries match, and whether the browser blocked a required action. Read the error message before trying again to avoid creating multiple accounts that are hard to distinguish. For sign-in, password-saving, or page-loading issues, visit Frequently Asked Questions and open the “Account and Subscription” category. Once the panel opens normally, continue to plan selection.

Choose a Plan and Place an Order

After signing in, open the Plans page in the user panel. C4VPN offers monthly subscriptions and data packages for different usage patterns. Monthly subscriptions reset data on the monthly renewal date: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages remain available until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB.

If you need a continuous connection for work services, development tools, or streaming, compare monthly subscriptions against your estimated monthly usage. If your usage varies and you prefer data to be deducted as needed, review the data packages. Before choosing, check the plan name, data allowance, and billing type rather than looking only at the price. When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days, so upgrade an existing plan from the current account panel instead of starting over with a separate account.

After confirming your plan, continue to checkout. The available payment methods are Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Complete payment using the selected method, then return to the order or account overview and wait for the status to update. Do not close a page while payment is still being confirmed or create repeated orders for the same need. Once the status updates, the account overview will show the active subscription and related usage information.

All plans support unlimited devices and include a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. The key step is confirming that the plan is active under the current account. If payment is complete but the panel has not updated, keep the order details and use the ticket option in the user panel; there is no need to create another account. Once the plan is active, get the subscription link.

Get Your Subscription Link from the User Panel

After the plan becomes active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. The panel provides an option to copy the subscription link or import it into a client. After you click Copy, the system clipboard should contain the address assigned to your account. The client uses this address to retrieve available routes and future updates, so protect it like an account credential.

A subscription link is usually a long URL. This guide uses only an obvious placeholder to illustrate the format, for example:

The address above cannot connect to any service and should not be pasted into a client. In practice, use only the content copied after signing in to your C4VPN user panel. Do not place the real link in public documents, posts, screenshots, shared notes, or untrusted online conversion tools. Even if it looks like an ordinary URL, its identifying information may allow a client to read the route configuration associated with your account.

After copying the link, you do not need to open it in the browser address bar or edit any characters manually. Switch directly to the client and paste it through an option such as “Import from Link.” If the client reports that the link is invalid, return to the panel and copy it again, checking that no characters are missing from the beginning, end, or middle. If import still fails, see Connection and Troubleshooting. Do not replace it with a random link found through a search engine.

Import the Subscription on Each Platform

Start by selecting your current operating system in the client section of the user panel. The client download area delivers the appropriate software to signed-in users; after installation, routes will not appear automatically. You still need to import the subscription link copied in the previous section. Different clients may store this under “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Remote Configuration,” but the sequence is usually the same: add a configuration, choose link import, paste the subscription, save, and update.

Connect to a Route and Verify It Works

After the subscription update completes, the client will show the routes available to your account. You do not need to test every route or change protocol settings for the first connection. Choose a region based on your needs: for services tied to a specific region, select the corresponding region; for cross-border work or development tools where connection stability matters, start with a geographically closer route with a more direct path. Detailed differences between route types and protocols are outside this guide; read the Technical Reference for Protocols and Routes after connecting successfully.

Select a route and switch on the connection. The client should change from Not Connected to Connected, and the system status area will usually show a corresponding network indicator. Open the website or app you actually need and check that pages load, sign-in completes, and continuous use does not produce interruptions. The goal is not a single speed test, but stable completion of the task you need to perform.

If the client shows Connected but the target page still reflects the previous connection, fully close and reopen the target app or refresh the browser page. If nothing changes, disconnect the current route, switch to another route in the same region, and reconnect. Avoid changing the route, protocol, system network, and app settings repeatedly at the same time, or it will be difficult to identify what caused the change.

If no route connects, check in order that the subscription updated successfully, the plan is still active, the device can access ordinary websites, and the system allows the client to create a network configuration.
